I have always believed in the power of simple imagery to convey a concept clearly and efficiently. This is especially true when it comes to political and social issues. After the 2016 election, I started designing political "swag" as an outlet for my frustration about political and social issues. Sometimes I use humor as a means of expression, other times I tried to boil down an idea into the most basic image and phrase.
I designed and sold these t-shirts as a way to raise money for progressive organizations (in this case, Swing Left).

During the Kavanaugh hearings, it occurred to me that the collective energy of women's anger over this issue, could be harnessed as a powerful political force itself. So this was a way for me to express my frustration with the hearings, as well as convey the notion of transforming female rage into political power.
